Notice To All Customers

Dear Customers,

As you may be aware, Flogas purchased Budget Energy, including BE Energy, in May of this year, and we are delighted to let you know that your BE Energy account will now be transferring to Flogas from Friday 4th December 2020.

Flogas has been providing energy to Irish homes and businesses since 1978 and we now look forward to providing you with great value electricity as well as exceptional customer service into the future. Please read this letter carefully as it contains some important information about the transfer process.
We want to assure you that:
• there will be no interruption to your electricity supply, thanks to the support of ESB Networks
• there will be no change to the tariff you have agreed with BE Energy
• your BE Energy account balance will transfer to Flogas after the 4th December, in the meantime you will continue to be billed by BE Energy.
• there will be no initial change to your monthly payment amount.
• you can opt out of this transfer process up to the 3rd December by switching supplier, though an early exit fee may apply if you switch before your contract end date if applicable. Switching supplier will not be possible for 20 working days after 4th December.

Billing information
You will receive your Flogas bill(s)/ statements, bi-monthly and you will continue to receive billing information as you currently do – either by post or email. We will be using the same email address you supplied for online billing to BE Energy. If you want to update your details or change your email address for billing, please do so with BE Energy on 1800 817 383 or by clicking here before the 20th November.

Direct Debit changes
If you pay by Direct Debit, you will continue to be debited monthly for the fixed monthly amount you agreed with BE Energy. There may be a slight change to the payment date , which we will confirm to you 14 days before any charge is made to your account.
Your Direct Debit details will transfer to Flogas on 4th December and Direct Debits after that date will be called from your bank account by Flogas. The creditor name and ID that you see on your bank account statement debits will change to Flogas Natural Gas Ltd, IE92ZZZ361059.

Your personal information
Flogas has and, over the next few weeks, will continue to receive data (including your personal data) from BE Energy for the purposes of facilitating your registration with Flogas. Flogas will process your data for the purposes of administering your Flogas account. To find out how Flogas processes your personal data and your rights in relation to this processing, visit
Flogas use Legitimate Interest as our legal basis to market to our customers as we believe it is in our legitimate interests and yours, to continue to receive special tariffs and/or money back offers, as well as other promotional offers. What happens next
